This Privacy Policy explains what information Amader Tangail ("the App", "we", "us") collects, why, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to the Android app and to the same app running in a web browser, whether you sign in or browse as a guest.

A photo attached to a classified ad is stored inside that listing's record, in the same database as the rest of the listing.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo (if your Google profile has one) and a Google account identifier, through Firebase Authentication. We never receive your Google password.
We do not collect precise or approximate device location. The app has no location permission and no location code. The upazila and union you see are a menu you choose from by hand, not a reading of where your phone is.
Stated plainly, because it is easier to verify than a list of what we do collect. The app contains no advertising SDK, no attribution or marketing SDK, no crash reporting, no social network SDK, and no push notification service. It does not read your contacts, your photo library, your calendar, your microphone, your camera or your files. It declares one Android permission, INTERNET, and nothing else.
To publish donor listings, blood requests and classified ads so other people in Tangail can find and contact you; to reply to messages you send us; to understand which parts of the app are used, in aggregate; and to detect and remove abusive or fraudulent listings. We do not use your data to make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
This is a directory. Donor listings, urgent blood requests and classified ads — including the phone number attached to them — are visible to anyone using the app, including people who are not signed in. If you would rather your phone number were not public, do not register as a donor and do not post a listing. You can ask us to remove a listing at any time.
These companies process data on our instructions so the app can work. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

The app serves no advertisements. It contains no AdMob, no AdSense, no Meta or Facebook SDK, and no attribution or marketing SDK. No advertising identifier is read, and no data is shared with any advertising network. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships, and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated to match.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
We may disclose information where we are required to by law, by court order, or by a valid request from Bangladeshi authorities, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.
We keep your account and your listings for as long as your account exists and your listings are posted.
To have everything removed, use the form on our Delete Your Account & Data page. It emails you a six-digit code to confirm the address is yours, shows you exactly what is held for it before you decide, and then submits the request. You do not need the app installed and you do not need to sign in.
Each request is reviewed by a person before anything is removed, and completed within 30 days — normally much sooner. When you submit it you are given a reference; entering that reference with your email address on the same page tells you whether the request is still queued, has been carried out, or was not approved and why. If you would rather not use the form, emailing support@sayadbayezid.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" still works and is handled by hand on the same commitment.
After deletion we do not keep a copy of your personal data beyond what is needed for fraud prevention or legal compliance, which is held for up to 90 days and then permanently removed. Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you are not affected.

All traffic between the app and our services uses HTTPS/TLS. Identity is handled by Firebase Authentication, so we never see or store a password. Firestore Security Rules restrict which records an account can read and write, and a listing can only be deleted by the account that created it. No system is completely secure, but these are reasonable, industry-standard measures.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw Google Sign-In access at any time from your Google Account permissions. Deletion is self-service on the deletion page, which also shows you what is held before you commit to removing it and lets you check the status of a request afterwards. Amader Tangail is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will remove it.
The app contains no violence, sexual content, gambling, or promotion of controlled substances or age-restricted goods. It does include user-to-user contact: you can call a donor or an ad poster directly from a listing, and listings are written by other users rather than by us.
Bangladesh's Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 establishes rights over personal data, including requirements around consent, with enforcement mechanisms phasing in through 2027. We aim to align our practices with that framework. If you are outside Bangladesh you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA — contact us and we will handle your request under those rules.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If a change materially affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will say so in the app.
